About the class:
Advanced Beginner: Ready to take your tap skills to the next level? This 4-week class is designed for rising 8th-12th graders who want to build technique and have fun on stage! Each class includes a warm-up, across-the-floor exercises, and combinations to sharpen your skills, plus you’ll learn a tap routine from a Broadway musical to perform by the end of the session.
Requirements: New students must have a minimum of 1 year experience or previously participated in Ms. Lindsay’s tap class
Teaching Artist: Lindsay is a professional actress here in L.A. Originally from Pittsburgh, Lindsay got her BFA in musical theatre from Penn State University. Upon graduating, she performed in the Japan & North American Tour of 42nd Street the Musical. She then headed to LA to continue her career in theatre, tv/film, and voice over. Lindsay is a long time teacher with Village Arts and has co-directed our mini musical theatre programs, as well as our Teen Dance, and Voiceover Workshops
