Wizard of Oz:

Wizard of Oz has delighted families for decades and tells the story of the young Dorothy Gale as she is swept away from her Kansas farm by a powerful tornado and transported to the magical Land of Oz. Along the Yellow Brick Road, she befriends a Scarecrow searching for a brain, a Tin Man longing for a heart, and a Cowardly Lion hoping to find courage. Together, they embark on an unforgettable journey to the Emerald City, encountering colorful characters, exciting adventures, and the Wicked Witch of the West along the way. Filled with beloved songs, laughter, heart, and timeless lessons about friendship, bravery, and believing in yourself, The Wizard of Oz: Youth Edition is a magical adventure that reminds us there’s truly no place like home.

MINI PROGRAM: The mini version is lovingly adapted by our own Ms. Jeanne. The Mini program is an age appropriate introduction to theatre, song and dance. The kids get to participate in the hilarious situations, snappy dialogue and a hit-parade score of wonderful music! Aside from rehearsing for the big show, the kids will play theatre games, explore creating characters and have fun making new friends as they all create this magical musical story together

While our performances are top-rate, our focus is on process and teamwork. We believe in community and personal growth and invite you to join our Village Arts family!
