Village Arts and its Board of Directors are committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion. We recognize the true value that diversity and equitable access provides for our families and our community and are committed to fully understanding diversity, equity, and inclusion.
We acknowledge that this is a continuous evolution as we strive to reflect and meet the needs of our growing community to help us live up to our motto, “A Place for Everyone.” To ensure that all voices have an opportunity to be heard, we will:

Strive to educate ourselves, our collaborative artists, and our families on the importance of contributing to social and educational equity.
Build an inclusive organization through teaching and performing that supports the personal development of children and youth of all ages; open opportunities for children and youth from all walks of life to pursue their interests in the arts and theater;
Commit to being allies with underrepresented and marginalized children and youth of all ages; provide affordable and accessible programming for all children and youth regardless of income, gender, race, ethnicity, national origin, age, sexual orientation, familial status, or differently-abled status, gender identity, religion, education, or any other barriers they may face.
Provide an arts center where children and youth of all ages can find their voice and express themselves regardless of their gender, race, ethnicity, national origin, age, sexual orientation, familial status or differently-abled status, gender identity, religion, education, or any other barriers that they may face.
Create a safe and inclusive art center where all staff, artists, patrons, collaborators, and volunteers feel valued and respected regardless of their gender, race, ethnicity, national origin, age, sexual orientation, familial status, or differently-abled status, gender identity, religion, or education.
