Class Overview

Kinder Art is a 10-week, after-school class designed for kindergarteners to stimulate their creativity and inspire young minds through hands-on projects. We provide a variety of art materials and guided instruction, encouraging kids to explore their imaginations, develop problem-solving skills, and express themselves in unique ways. Our program offers a safe and supportive environment where children can experiment with different art forms, collaborate with peers, and discover the joy of creating.

Logistics for Colfax families: 

To make participation easy and convenient, we offer a dedicated pickup service from Colfax Charter Elementary, ensuring your child gets to our program safely. We also provide simple drop-off options for parents.

About the Teaching Artist: 

Al Batiste is a multi-discipline artist and businessman passionate about creating impactful art and experiences. With a diverse background in music, graphic design, and brand development, Al leverages his skills to inspire community collaboration. His mission is to give back to future generations, using art as a vehicle to spark creativity and innovation. Through his work, Al aims to cultivate a legacy of creativity, collaboration, and positive change.
