Grades K–5th:
This Homework Club (HWC) Add-On: only for students currently enrolled in one of our theatre programs or classes.
Scheduling: Scheduled immediately before and/or after your child’s theatre program or class.
Homework Support: Dedicated homework support for the first hour—starting at 2:30 PM (Mon, Wed–Fri) or 1:30 PM (Tue).
Activities & Snacks: Engaging activities (including the Plus Class) and snacks.
Note: Homework support is only offered during the first hour of the Homework Club program. If your child arrives at HWC after this initial hour (following their rehearsal), they will participate in the engaging activities and snacks portion only; no homework help will be provided at that time.
Automatically matches your child’s theatre program schedule, beginning and ending concurrently with the theatre program or Ms. Klace’s art class at Colfax.
Discounted Tuition: $15 per hour (discounted from our regular $16 rate for HWC help on rehearsal days).
Enroll for Additional Days: Day-to-day option, or fixed days in the semester if you need HWC on days outside your child’s scheduled theatre or class.
Homework Club Plus–an all inclusive after-school experience!
Our after-school program offers a warm, inclusive, and fun “second home” environment where children are truly seen and supported by caring, local teachers, led by Ms. Gina, Homework Club Director, in small groups.
Our “PLUS” Classes are taught by Paula, Al, Jason, Samantha, Gina and Sabrina, other guest teaching artists.
Teaming up with our after-school musical theatre program, The Wizard of Oz, Jr , two of our Homework PLUS classes are taking an imaginative journey down the yellow brick road! This fall, let your imagination take flight in Imagine Oz, Village Arts’ newest creative adventure. Inspired by the magical worlds of The Wizard of Oz, The Wiz, and Wicked, students will use these beloved stories as a springboard for their own original ideas, creations, and adventures. As they journey through the wonderful world of Oz, they’ll build, create, move, and imagine while bringing their own unique visions to life. Students enrolled in HWC on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays can participate in Imagine Oz! While each class explores the same imaginative world of Oz, every offering brings its own unique creative adventure. Together, they provide even more opportunities to create, collaborate, and discover.
