Art Teacher Al Batiste says:

“Hey, Parents, tell the kids this: Art Catalyst is a fun and power-packed class where kids can do anything (within reason) while tapping into their creative superpowers. Paint, shape, trash, break, splash, splatter, and display every Monday for eight crazy weeks at Village Arts.

This eight-week program also introduces Critical Thinking, Confidence and Social Skills Building, Emotional Development as well as Historic & Cultural Awareness, encouraging problem-solving as students explore a variety of mediums and techniques. The class is designed to accommodate the pace of the individual, encouraging students to think outside the box and discover new concepts, thoughts, theories, and visual identity into their work.

Our goal is to deliver an early-developmental program that goes beyond traditional art education in a fun and open environment. We aim to expose young minds to a diverse range of artistic concepts, introducing them to both contemporary and historical artists and visionaries. Through imaginative projects, we empower your child to shape their creativity, fostering a sense of purpose in the art they create.

At the program’s conclusion students will present their projects publicly at our semester-ending art show and reception.”
