A wonderful time was had by all who attended the Village Arts 10th Anniversary Gala. Whether you were there in person or cheering us on from afar, thank you for being part of our decade-long journey. We are especially grateful to the friends and partners who made the evening possible.
Community Honors
- A New Tradition: A huge Thank You to Tony Braswell and Neighborhood Council Valley Village for officially proclaiming April 29th, 2026 as Village Arts Day in Valley Village. This date celebrates the first performance of Annie in 2016.
Neighborhood Support: Thank you to the Valley Village Residents Association (VVRA) for their ongoing support of our community.
City Recognition: Thank you to Councilmember Adrin Nazarian for his kind words and for presenting John and Pam with a beautiful city commendation.
Food, Drinks & Cheer!
Our neighborhood businesses kept us well-fed and “hydrated!” Please show some love to:
Malbec Argentinean Cuisine, Full House Restaurant and Rustic Spoon for the delicious catering
Hey, Sweet Stuff and Half Baked Co. bakeries for the delectable truffles and cupcakes
Tom Legend Wines and Lawless Brewing Company for the festive libations
Heartfelt Thanks
To our alumni: thank you for the memories! The slideshow of your photos was a highlight of the night with photos, memories, and quotes. And a special thank you to our alumni singers who performed a heart-felt rendition of “Children Will Listen” for our audience. Watch the video here!
Thank you to Pastor Rich Poole for sharing the origin story of Caldwell Hall becoming the home of Village Arts, and to the current Faith Presbyterian Session for continuing to support our mission.
Finally, Thank You to our VOLUNTEERS! We couldn’t have done it without you: Lindsay and Parisa for their leadership, Paula for her show-themed centerpieces, Jennifer, Becca, Stevie and Wendi for all your help with the Silent Auction and beyond, Sol and his team for mixing our beverages, Gene for the alumni slideshow, our board and staff members, Cooper, Jane, and so many more.
It really does take a village!
