The focus of the class:
Get your funny bones primed and your creative comedy chops sharpened as a seasoned sketch comedy performer, and teacher, Dwayne Colbert, creates a class for students that love to play, create and make people laugh! In this class, students will take the journey of creating original sketch comedy – starting with simple improv and then developing their own sketches. Students will learn the basics of comedy structure and form that allow for the hilarious.
These classes are part of Village Arts’ plans to establish a sketch comedy student troupe where students will develop their material to be performed at Village Arts and beyond.
