Photography 101 For Kids

8 CLASSES

Grade: 3rd-5th

  • Wednesday: March 22 – May 17 (No class on school holidays)
  • Time: 4:00PM – 5:00PM

Students will learn basic photography concepts such as light, subject, composition, and creative editing in fun and creative ways. Each week the students will participate in hands-on lessons designed to engage and inspire the art of Photography.

The Homework Club Add-On option schedule is for 2 hours of homework club before or after your Village Arts Class and is for 10 sessions. If you wish to enroll in other days of HWC, please sign up for those additional days separately.

Photography 101 for kids

The focus of the class:

Students will learn basic photography concepts such as light, subject, composition, and creative editing in fun and creative ways. Each week the students will participate in hands-on lessons designed to engage and inspire the art of Photography.

Grettel Cortes:

With over 20 years of experience as a professional photographer, Grettel Cortes has photographed many Colfax families professionally while volunteering for the Colfax Fair. She is a local business owner, a Colfax Mom, and a Valley Village community member.
