Let’s Play!: Table Top Games 1

Grades: 1-2nd

  • Mondays: 10 Classes August 28–October 30 (No class on school holidays)
  • Time: (Class only) 3:15-4:15PM ($210)
  • Time: (Class with HWC): 2:30PM-5:30PM ($450) HWC-add on is for 10 sessions of this class.
  • Ready, Set, Go! Over the ten sessions of this class students will play a variety of classic and newer board and card games. The fun is in the playing and through the play kids learn to apply logic, critical thinking, problem solving and reasoning skills. Side effects include: sportsmanship, collaboration, fairness of play and intense building of friendships.

 

The Homework Club Add-On option schedule is for 2 hours (Mon/Wed-Fri) or 3 hours (Tues) of homework club before or after your Village Arts Class and is for 10 sessions. If you wish to enroll in other days of HWC, please sign up for those additional days separately. 

This does not apply for Middle School students.

Ready, Set, Go! Over the ten sessions of this class students will play a variety of classic and newer board and card games. The fun is in the playing and through the play kids learn to apply logic, critical thinking, problem solving and reasoning skills. Side effects include: sportsmanship, collaboration, fairness of play and intense building of friendships.

Teacher

David Derus has over 20+ years in board game development. He is the owner of Dice Envy, a small business in Valley Village that specializes in board game components and independent game publishing.
