Schedules, Tuition & Discounts

We have classes Monday-Friday. 
  • Each Class is 8 sessions
  • No class on School Holidays (except for Sketch Comedy)
  • Tuition starts at $175
  • $10 off with a minimum purchase of two classes
  • $5.00 off each additional class when you purchase 3 classes or more.
  • Eligible discounts will be automatically applied at check out.

Families: Meet at the Village Arts space on the campus of the Faith Presbyterian Church.

All Village Arts programs take place at Village Arts space on the campus of Faith Presbyterian Church of Valley Village. 

  • Classes are open for ALL kids in the community (you don’t have to be enrolled at Colfax Charter)
  • Note:  Colfax Students enrolled in a class with Homework Club Add-on are picked up at Colfax School and then escorted across the street to the Village Arts space. If not enrolled in HWC, please meet at Village Arts Campus at the start of the class.
  • Village Arts classes are small and are split up to ensure a safe environment and personal attention!

You’ll have an option to add homework club to your class. 

  • Homework Club Add-on is discounted when you add it to your class.
  • If you are adding HWC to your class, bring: two snacks, student Homework packet, water bottle, and label your child’s items. Their HWC schedule will differ from a full time HWC student; They will only have time do homework before or after class. If time permits, they will engage in playtime.

MONDAY Classes

Grades: 1st-2nd Art Catalyst 1  Session 2: Concept Car How will you create your dream concept car? Be prepared to sketch, cut, shape, break and glue yourself into the concept car of your dreams.
  • Mondays: 8 Classes: April 8 - June 3 (4/8; 4/15, 4/22, 4/29, 5/6, 5/13, 5/20, 6/3 --No class on Memorial Day, May 27)
  • Time: (Class only) 3:15-4:15PM ($200 includes Hot Wheels and all materials)
  • Time (Class with HWC): 2:30PM-5:30PM ($373) HWC add-on is for 8 sessions of this class. 
Lesson Plan
  • Week 1 - Imagine, Sketch, Draw and Colorize
  • Week 2 - Focus On The Parts (Sketch, Draw and Colorize)
  • Week 3 - Cut It Out Kid! Car Construction.
  • Week 4 - The Very Odd Shape Sculpture Car
  • Week 5 - Break, Smash & Put it back together your way
  • Week 6 - The Open Road To Creativity (Sketch & Draw Road Scenery)
  • Week 7 - Final Presentation Development & Artwork Modifications
  • Week 8 - The Park & Pickup Up Art Show

Everyone Can Sing! Village Arts Choir program is for any child who loves to sing on their own, with their friends, and enjoys sharing time with others.
Performance Choir 1 for Elementary Students (Grades 1-2)
  • Wednesdays: 8 Classes  Session 2: April 3 -May 29 (No Classes, April 24 for Armenian Genocide Day)
  • Time: (Class only) 4:00-4:45PM ($175)
  • Time (Class with HWC): 2:30PM-5:30PM ($369) HWC add-on is for 8 sessions of this class.

Friday Classes!

Grades 6th-9th   Sketch Comedy for Middle School - We have two classes!  Fridays: 8 Classes, Session 2: April 5-May 31. No classes on May 24, Memorial Day weekend
  • Beginners Grades: 6th-9th Time: 3:45PM – 4:45PM ($210) 
  • Intermediate Grades:  6th-9th Time: 5:00PM – 6:30PM ($260)

Closure and Additional Info 

 School Holidays Closure:

  • No Classes/Homework Club during school holidays and spring break.
  • Village Arts follows the LAUSD calendar and will not hold classes or programs if the LAUSD is not in session.
  • Please note the days that Village Arts classes are not in session.
