VILLAGE ARTS COVID PREVENTION GUIDELINES AND PROTOCOLS

Village Arts follows Los Angeles County Department of Public Health and CDC guidelines to prevent the spread of the COVID19 Virus.

Daily implementation of the following protocols are part of Village Arts efforts to maintain a safe environment for children, teens and staff:

  • Temperature Checks
  • Safety Symptom Check
  • Social Distancing
  • Masks Required
  • Hand Washing and Hand Sanitizing Stations

POLICIES FOR RETURNING TO VILLAGE ARTS PROGRAMS AFTER TESTING POSITIVE FOR COVID19

The ill student(s) can return to Village Arts programs and end isolation once the following are met:
  1. Has received a negative test result for COVID 19 from accredited testing location
  2. 10 days out from the start of the symptoms
  3. Fever free for 24 hours without fever reducing medication
  4. Has communicated with Pam Shafer Moser and/or John Moser and received permission to return to Village Arts programs

TESTED POSITIVE FOR COVID OR HAVE COME IN CONTACT WITH SOMEONE THAT IS POSITIVE.

For everyone’s safety Village Arts request that all students and their families follow the protocols outlined below should your child test positive for COVID or has been in contact with someone who tested positive for COVID.

If you have received a positive test:

  1. Self-Isolate
  2. Tell your close contacts to self-quarantine if you have a positive diagnostic (viral) test for COVID-19
  3. Follow all the County of Los Angeles Public Health guidelines

If you have been in close contact with a person diagnosed with COVID-19 you are required* to:

  1. Quarantine – stay home and separate yourself from others for 10 days
  2. Monitor your health for 14 days
  3. Follow all the County of Los Angeles Public Health guidelines
